3 easy steps to get your team quacking!
Step 1: Register your Team - Get together your team of up to 10 friends, family, work colleagues or corporate group for a very special team bonding exercise without the exercise! When you register you'll receive a Fundraising Kit and Team Pack which includes your GIANT Race Duck, T-Shirts and everything to get you started.
Step 2: Fundraise $1000 - Get your team waddling and underway to raise your minimum race entry goal of $1000.
Step 3: Nominate, decorate and partake! - You've reached your fundraising target, what next? Nominate your Team Race Duck in either the motorised or non-motorised race category, brand it and get quacking!

Step 2: Fundraise $1000
Get your team waddling and underway to raise your minimum race entry goal of $1000, but why stop there. We encourage you to keep fundraising right up until the day of the race because every single donation you receive will help to stop cancer.
So how does your team fundraise? As well as getting a giant rubber race duck to dress up for race day - you will get a team pack which comes with a fundraising manual with loads of ideas or you can come up with some quacky - err quirky fundraising ideas yourself.
In the Fundraising Manual you will receive all the tips, ideas and help you will need to reach your target. The Fundraising Kit also includes promotional ducks, money boxes and posters to assist in your fundraising efforts.
To help with your efforts, we have partnered with Go Fundraise so you can create an Online Fundraising Page. Your Online Fundraising Page is the easiest and most accessible way your supporters can donate directly to your team. They simply visit your page, choose how much they want to give and can donate via credit card, cash, cheque or BPAY or PayPal.
By creating an Online Fundraising Page, your family, friends and other supporters will be able to donate to your Team easily and quickly. You can share your page throughout your network easily via email and social media, personalise your page, write a blog, upload photos and view all your supporter's messages and donations.

Step 3: Nominate, decorate and partake!So you have registered, fundraised until your feet have webbed what happens next? All you have to do now is nominate the race category you want your Team to compete in, either the Motorised (75m) course or the Non-Motorised (50m course).
This is where the fun starts as you can get down and get ducky and decorate, paint, brand, hot up or dress your duck with virtually no rules on what your race duck can do and look like.
Then on race day bring your Team and Race Duck down to Riverside Drive West End to take part in the quackiest race course on the Brisbane River. Your team will have their own designated and catered area to take advantage of all the day has to offer. With live music and entertainment, fun team activities, races, rides and more food stalls and fun kids rides than ever before.
And don't let us forget there are plenty of prizes up for grabs - including the coveted Top Fundraising Team Perpetual Trophy and Prize, Fastest Motorised Duck Prize, Fastest Non-Motorised Duck Prize, Best Dressed Non-Motorised Duck Prize and Mini Team Challenge Winner Prize.
